| Description | : Fr. Hermenegild CMI purchased this land admeasuring 50
acres, situated on the bank of river Wain Ganga and started the first
CMI house in 1966. A mission station attached to the CMI House
was established on 28 March 1970 and Fr. James Thottapilly CMI
was appointed as its first Priest-in-charge. The Sacred Heart
Sisters of Thamarassery Province began their convent here in
1993.Bp. Vijay Anand Nedumpuram CMI bishop emiritus is a
member of this community since 2014 |
